Manolo Blahnik hates celebrities!

The god of shoes — that's Manolo Blahnik to you and I — has sounded off about celebutantes wearing his shoes, telling Vogue.com he hates starlets and he only wants stylish women to wear his creations.

"I hate celebrities! All those pointless girls — I won't name names, but you know who I mean. They are 'famous'. Ridiculous!" he complained.

He doesn't hate all celebrities though, "I like women with style: actresses like Uma Thurman, icons like Audrey Hepburn. I like women with style to wear my shoes."

Another star he adores is Sex And The City's Sarah Jessica Parker. "I adore Ms Parker! The character she played has had such a role in my career."

It's not surprising that Blahnik gushes so readily about SJP, her character Carrie Bradshaw won't leave the house without his creations gracing her size 5 feet and has no doubt made him famous among women the world over.

But as for those starlets whose names he won't name … we're just speculating here, but do you think he might be talking about the likes of Paris Hilton? Answers on a postcard please (or below, whatever's easiest).
