NZ's Next Top Model finalist Rosanagh Wypych has said posting pictures online of alcohol and drug use had "jeopardised" her place in the competition.

The 17-year-old Hawkes Bay model posted the pictures on her Facebook page, making them accessible to her 3800 Facebook friends and anyone with a mutual friend.

Some of the pictures show Rosanagh with friends who were drinking alcohol, while one photo shows her looking on while another girl holds what appears to be cannabis.

One user posted: "great look for a top model", to which she replied: "not me smoking it".

TV3 said it would not comment on a private Facebook page, the New Zealand Herald reports.

But Mediaworks spokeswoman Rachel Lorimer said the network "takes its responsibilities towards younger viewers seriously" and did not condone illegal behaviour.

Rosanagh has come under fire earlier in the competition for not disclosing convictions for driving while disqualified and giving false details to police.

The final of Next Top Model will screen live on Friday.

Do you think Rosanagh Wypych should be disqualified from the competition? Have your say.

what a disgrace to NZ! she should be kicked off, if they allow her to stay on the show, why not let all other contestants go out and smoke weed and get wasted! then again, I bet she didn't realise how much of a role-model she was going to be to the next generation! suck it up lady YOUR OUT!!!
She has go the rights to stay cmon shes a good model!
Perhaps the team at top model should invite Paul Holmes and his daughter along for a chat with this girl about drug usage and how it can affect your modeling career. A chat with Paul and Millie might open her eyes a bit.
If you look in the photos shes not actually smoking or drinking anything. She is just around people who are, it doesnt mean she has a problem. Everyone needs to calm down, a lot of teenagers on facebook have photos of themselves and friends at parties its just part of our culture. Its just because shes on NZNTM that she has all the attention. Everyone should just leave her alone and let her get on with the competition. And to the mother who said her 11 year old child befriended her on facebook. Maybe you should sort your own kid out first. 11 year olds shouldnt be on facebook let alone adding people they dont know personally. I bet the only reason you saw those photos was because you were using your childs account to stalk her. Shame on you. You say Rosanagh is a bad person , well maybe your a bad parent for exposing your child to things like facebook. You should be worried about your child befriending old men and creeps rather than people like Rosanagh.
in regards rosanagh being kicked off top model because she posted fotos of her drinking or being with a friend who looked like she was having a cannibis smoke, for goodness sake. Should we not be more concerned with what our dodgy politicians are getting up to, we are a liberal country, and i can almost wager, regardless of what anyone thinks, she wont be chosen by people who havent got the balls to face the music if she wins!
Where do the judges get their sense from? They surely cannot pick nice looking girls. All the girls this year are plain Janes and nothing at all very exciting or pretty about any of them, NZ should be ashamed of having such ugly beauties grace our television, lets face it this has been the norm for some time now. As for the photo fiasco, well they are after all just out to have a good time like the next person why should that have any effect on their status, unless they are the ones directly consuming the alcohol and drugs, otherwise the moral majority need to get over themselves.
I think she shouldn't be disqualified but i don't think she should win either as its sending the wrong message, she is a role model to younger girls who watch nztm she has already been in the media for drunk driving convictions but everyone has a past it's just hers has become public knowledge.. i also think she is to young and doesnt understand how the things thats she had done can effect her now and in the future.
Shes a teenager, thats what we do. So she has photos on Facebook of what she does in her spare time, big woop. At the end of the day, she is where she is.. Gorgeous and potentially New Zealands Next Top Model, give her a break. Mad respect to you hun, go all the way!
I think that she should be disqualified as the message that is being sent out to the public is that these acts are ok. If she does not get disqualified then these standards should be put into place for everyone. If you do not put your convictions on your lob application then it shouldn't be frowned on. Do not set double standards do the right thing.
rosanagh wypych should be given a fair chance like everyone else jus like criminals coz thats wot there more less saying which i believe shes not nor is she a drugy so wot if she stands nex to friends who do as they pleaz wake up man an get with the programe.. rosanagh yor beutiful an u go girl hearty aaaarrrah
