Now they've thought of everything... Wrangler has unveiled the first range of moisturising jeans that not only promise to hydrate and soothe the skin, but also help reduce cellulite.
The Denim Spa range comprises of skinny-leg styles in three finishes — Olive Extract, Aloe Vera and Smooth Legs.
In a classic blue colour-way, the Olive Extract style claims to tone and moisturise the skin, while the baby-blue Aloe Vera design soothes sensitive skin.
But, it is the Smooth Leg variety that makes the bravest claim: to help reduce the texture of cellulite.
Infused with algae extracts, retinol and caffeine, the style was clinically tested by the Institut Adriant in France, where 69 per cent of the panel claimed that the appearance of their thighs had improved after four weeks of wearing the jeans eight hours a day, five days a week.
The brand tapped model Lizzie Jagger — the daughter of Jerry Hall and the Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger — to front the campaign for the fancy pants. "They definitely feel cooler than regular jeans," she said in a promotional film. "After a day wearing them, my legs feel great — they come out feeling more silky than usual."
