Supermodel Kate Moss has outraged eating disorder campaigners after revealing one of her mottos is the anorexic mantra: "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels".

Moss's remarks have infuriated fellow models and women's health personalities across Britain, who say her comments will trigger an increase in eating disorders.

The debacle began when fashion website Woman's Wear Daily asked Moss of her mottos in an interview, to which she replied "there are loads".

"There's 'nothing tastes as good as skinny feels' — that's one of them," she said.

The 35-year-old English model has made a mega-successful career out of her waif-like looks and is often featured in highest-earning supermodel lists.

Curvy size-12 model Katie Green, who helped launch the "Say No To Zero" campaign four months ago, told The Sun newspaper Moss's quotes would lead to more anorexia cases.

"There are 1.1 million eating disorders in the UK alone — Kate Moss's comments are likely to cause many more," Green said.

TV personality Denise Van Outen, 35, said Moss was "talking out of her Size Zero backside".

"Having been in the industry for so long, she knows the impact her comment will have on vulnerable young women."

The "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" phrase is believed to have originated by WeightWatchers members several years ago and has since been hi-jacked by pro-skinny websites that are frequented by girls who starve themselves.

The big problem isn't her quote. Look around you, pick up a beauty magazine, go to the movies, watch some TV... Kate Moss isn't solely to blame for the eating disorders, and won't be to blame for the increase in them. It's the media, the people paying models like her ***loads, and the people worshipping many other celebrities like her (Seriously, I'm surprised it hasn't become a full-blown religion by now). And THAT'S the root of the problem - the CONSUMER. US! We who watch with bated breath for the latest news and stories about these celebrities. We who buy the products these celebrities advertise. WE are the ones making them worth millions, because we are willing to PAY millions. If you want companies to stop peddling their size 0 crap, STOP BUYING THEM! If Kate Moss on an ad didn't sell a product, they won't use her. So stop pointing fingers at the "sellers", it's the BUYERS that determine what is in demand, profitable and desired...
This is only too true. . . it is also a sad fact, in your face ... P C gone crazy.
Im sorry but its high time people stop worshipping kate moss and companies stop paying her *** loads. I seriously dont see the big deal with her "looks" or why the hell she gets so much publicity or money. She doesnt even have natural beauty. On top of that she does hardcore drugs. I hope she's out of job with her latest remark about being skinny. Go to hell kate moss.
